The Journey:
For almost 20 years, I lived in the world of market research and media measurement. I understood how advertising worked, how brands measured effectiveness, how data drove decisions.
Then I watched AI transform everything.
Suddenly, algorithms were making real-time decisions about ad targeting. AI was generating creative content, insights & optimization tactics.
And it was all happening faster than anyone could assess the risks.
The Gap:
I saw it clearly: market research teams were being pressured to adopt AI quickly. Compliance teams struggled to keep up with technical details and industry nuance. And almost no one understood both sides.
The Transition:
I decided to become that bridge. I pursued AIGP (Artificial Intelligence Governance Professional) certification through IAPP — the gold standard for AI governance expertise. I studied the frameworks: EU AI Act, NIST AI RMF, ISO 42001. I learned the technical side: algorithmic bias, model transparency, fairness testing. But I never lost my market research foundation. Because that's what makes me different.
The Difference:
Most AI governance consultants can explain NIST, ISO, or the EU AI Act. I can explain it and tell you how it affects your martech stack right now in the US.
Most compliance experts can identify algorithmic bias risks. I can identify them and explain the insights implications.
Most auditors can assess your AI systems. I can assess them and speak your CMO's language.
